Job Description

Job Purpose

Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention for the assigned area, product line, market segment with reference to assigned customer accounts and achieve sales target.

Keep abreast of general market development and standards and requirements.

Role & responsibility

  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and develop new customers
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Responsible to generate and pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers, collection, order booking, respond to customer enquiries, coordinate with the HoD to negotiate prices and delivery times and conclude sales orders to meet sales / revenue targets for assigned territory.
  • Evaluate products / solutions, create and maintain product catalogs and support the sales targets.
  • To sell value and advantages of product offerings to customers
  • Proactive, self-directed person and can use your communication skills to ensure we meet our promises to customers, and good public relations, ability to work in difficult areas and RCD experience

Customer (Residential and commercial developer, builders, contractors, PSU, Railways)

  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

Partner

  • Identify and appoint business partners as and when required. Ensure that the business partners get trained effectively to achieve targets as defined in business projections.

Preferred:

  • If you have worked in the areas of Gujarat.

Competitor

  • Monitor competitor activities including market share, products and applications
  • Analyze competition and market share



Experience and qualification

· B.E./ B. tech in Electrical (preferable) / Electronics engineering

· Experience 3-8 years

· Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering and power systems.

· Basic knowledge on the Sales & Marketing, contract handling and Sales cycle.

· Strong hold on selling through Builders and contractors

· Experience of working in tenders

· Comfortable with technology & engineering environments

· Should have knowledge of Electricity metering & Allied products preferably

· Knowledge of tendering process, order execution, contract handling and sales cycle
