Safety Steward Job Description:
Core Responsibilities of a Safety Steward
1) Safety Steward shall be deployed with each gang / activity of the transmission line
construction works (including re-conductoring & OPGW works).
2) Risk Assessment:
Analysing potential hazards to mitigate risks effectively.
3) Emergency Preparedness:
Developing plans for prompt responses to emergencies.
4) Safety Training:
Conducting training sessions for staff on safety protocols.
5) Policy Implementation:
Ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations.
6) Incident Investigation:
Probing accidents to prevent recurrence and improve safety measures.
Essential Skills and Qualities
1. Communication Skills:
Clear and effective communication to disseminate safety information.
2. Attention to Detail:
Recognizing and addressing potential safety issues.
3. Leadership Abilities:
Guiding others in adhering to safety protocols.

Educational and Qualifications requirements
1. The qualification of Safety Steward shall be ITI with 1 years relevant experience in safety
(or) 8th Pass with 7 years relevant experience in safety.
