Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to minimize or eliminate them.- Safety Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement safety programs that comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.- Safety Training and Education: Provide safety training to all employees, ensuring they are aware of potential hazards and necessary precautions.- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate safety records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in safety practices and procedures.- Emergency Preparedness: Lead in creating and testing emergency response plans.- Working with Equipment: Inspect equipment and working conditions to identify any weak areas that must be strengthened.- Familiar with safety equipment: Familiar with multi-gas detectors like GT-402, MX-251, Multiport - biosystems, Crowcon-Tetra: 3, MSA Orion.- Reporting: Maintain incident reporting systems and documentation.
