Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs at construction sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company safety standards, and client requirements.
Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers and staff.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Maintain and update safety documentation, permits, and records as per legal and organizational standards.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to enforce safe work practices.
Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
Liaise with government authorities and external agencies for inspections and certifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or relevant field.
Certified in Industrial Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 4 years’ experience in safety management within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, labor laws, and EHS regulations.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations and provide quick decision-making.
