Key Responsibilities

Develop & Implement Safety Programs:
Design, update, and implement safety policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and statutory norms.
Conduct Safety Inspections & Audits:
Carry out regular inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide Safety Training:
Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency response training sessions.
Investigate Incidents:
Lead root cause analysis for accidents, incidents, and near-misses; document findings and suggest corrective actions.
Monitor Workplace Safety:
Routinely monitor work environments to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and proactively identify risks.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated with applicable safety laws (OSHA/local regulations) and ensure full compliance across operations.
Drive Safety Awareness:
Lead initiatives and campaigns that promote awareness and a strong safety culture among employees.
Liaise with External Agencies:
Coordinate with local authorities, safety consultants, and auditors to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
Track & Improve Safety Performance:
Analyze safety data, track key performance indicators, and recommend improvements based on trends and feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or Engineering (preferred)
Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an added advantage
1–3 years of experience in a relevant safety role
Sound knowledge of safety legislation, standards, and best practices
Strong communication, observation, and analytical skills
Proactive approach with attention to detail
