Job Description: Safety Officer

Location

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering).

Experience

3 to 5 years in safety management or a similar role.

Familiarity with

Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Perform risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
Organize and lead safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses and document findings.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain all necessary documentation.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
Monitor and maintain safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
