Job Description

Spot potential dangers in the workplace and assess the level of risk involved.
Create, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with legal standards.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and training sessions to educate employees on safe practices.
Investigate accidents or near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure the organization complies with local, national, and international safety regulations (like OSHA or ISO standards).
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first-aid readiness.
Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure they meet safety standards.
Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and compliance reports.
Supervise the use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with external agencies during audits or inspections
Promote a culture of safety through campaigns and recognition programs
Monitor Permit to Work (PTW)* systems for high-risk activities like confined space entry or hot work.
