Safety Manager

As a Project Manager Safety (SIC), your role involves conducting pre-job meetings to assess risks. You will be responsible for building competency among contract workers by providing job-based training on various topics such as Chemical safety, Work permit, LOTO, Material handling, Machine guarding, PPEs, Fire safety, Electrical safety, Hot work, Work at height, and Confined space. Furthermore, you will be required to implement safety nudges at the field level, assess the performance of contract workers, and generate data for contractor safety performance. Your responsibilities also include rolling out safety intervention programs, coaching and mentoring the contractor workforce and supervisors, developing and issuing monthly MIS, coordinating monthly Contractor safety committee meetings, and administering Safety Passport (e-Passport). Desired Profile: - Experience in EHS standards - Passion for training on safety topics - Experience in Cement/Steel/Power Plants or Chemical Industry Desired Experience: - Minimum 10+ years of experience - Minimum experience in the Cement Industry Qualification: - Engineering Degree + Safety Qualification (PDIS or ADIS) As a Project Manager Safety (SIC), your role involves conducting pre-job meetings to assess risks.
