Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Engineer located in Chennai. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing occupational health and security measures. Day-to-day tasks include site inspections, training staff on safety procedures, and collaborating with the construction team to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Skills in Safety Engineering and Construction Safety
• Experience in Occupational Health and Security measures
• Ability to conduct Training sessions on safety procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Relevant certifications in safety management or engineering
