Job Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience with Rust (backend systems, not blockchain).
• Strong understanding of Actix, Tokio, or other Rust async runtimes.
• Experience in network programming (sockets, protocols, WebSockets, gRPC).
• Proficiency in API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure token management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, IAM).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging in distributed systems.
• Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and async programming patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Rust.
• Build scalable, low-latency RESTful and/or gRPC APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, or custom token-based systems).
• Develop networking-heavy applications (e.g., real-time communication, WebSockets, TCP/UDP protocols).
• Optimize services for performance, concurrency, and reliability using Rust’s async ecosystem (Tokio, Actix, etc.).
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend applications in AWS (or similar cloud providers).
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK) are in place.
• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, and load) to ensure high code quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
