Job Description – Run & Maintain Subject Matter Expert (SME) Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Run and Maintain Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and manage a wide range of network and security technologies. This role is critical to ensuring operational stability, quick issue resolution, and compliance across our enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Aruba, Juniper, and Thales systems, along with a proactive approach to monitoring and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Act as the primary SME for daily operations, support, and troubleshooting across: Aruba Fabric Composer – network orchestration and automation Aruba NetEdit – configuration management and compliance ClearPass – access control and policy enforcement Thales Luna Network HSM S790 – hardware security module management Juniper SRX4300 – firewall configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution Juniper MX304 – router monitoring, BGP/OSPF routing support Aruba CX 6300M – switch configuration, VLANs, and trunking Monitoring & Troubleshooting Proactively monitor system health, availability, and performance. Diagnose and resolve faults, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues. Escalate and coordinate with vendor support (Aruba, Juniper, Thales) as required. Required Qualifications4+ years of experience in network and security infrastructure operations. Hands-on expertise with: Aruba Fabric Composer, NetEdit, and CX switches ClearPass Policy Manager Thales Luna Network HSM S790 Juniper SRX series firewalls and MX series routers Strong understanding of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP). Knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1X, and authentication mechanisms. Experience with system logging, configuration backup/restore, and compliance validation. Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or Ansible) – preferred. Key Competencies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently under pressure.
