About the Role

We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails + React Native Developer to join our team in Jaipur. You will play a critical role in building a high-performing application that delivers real-time engagement, dynamic content and a seamless user experience. This role involves working on both the backend and mobile application to deliver a robust, scalable and engaging product.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.

● Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.

● Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

● Integrate backend APIs with the mobile app and ensure smooth data flow.

● Implement features such as user authentication, media uploads, real-time notifications and social interactions.

● Optimize performance and scalability across backend and mobile layers.

● Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and agile sprint planning.

● Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

● 3–5 years of experience in full-stack or mobile application development.

● Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails framework and API development.

● Hands-on experience in React Native for mobile app development.

● Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL.

● Experience in integrating third-party APIs, Firebase or cloud services such as AWS S3.

● Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks (Devise, JWT, OAuth2).

● Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

● Strong problem-solving, debugging and performance tuning skills.

Good to Have

● Experience with GraphQL, ActionCable or WebSocket-based real-time features.

● Familiarity with ReactJS or other frontend frameworks.

● Knowledge of app publishing for Play Store and App Store.

● Experience in handling media uploads, caching and background jobs (Sidekiq).

● Exposure to analytics, push notifications and social login integrations
