Rno Engineer

We have openings for RNO- Optimization Engineer at Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Noida, Chennai and Kolkata.

Experience: 7 to 10 Years in RNO

Salary Range: 50,000 85,000 per month (Based on Experience and Job Stage)

Job Summary

The role demands strong expertise in RF Optimization, Drive Test analysis, OSS KPI monitoring, and cluster-level performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cluster Optimization:

• Conduct cluster-level performance analysis and optimization to enhance coverage, capacity, and quality of service.

• Identify and resolve RF issues affecting network performance.

2. Drive Test & Optimization:

• Plan and execute drive tests, analyze logs, and recommend parameter or design changes to improve KPIs.

• Ensure post-optimization KPIs meet SLA targets.

3. OSS KPI Monitoring & Optimization:

• Monitor and analyze OSS KPIs daily to identify degradations and implement corrective actions.

• Perform proactive optimization to maintain network stability and quality.

4. RF Planning & Design Support:

• Support RF planning activities including site selection, frequency planning, and neighbor optimization.

• Collaborate with planning teams for new site integrations and parameter audits.

5. RNO (Radio Network Optimization):

• Execute end-to-end RNO activities covering data collection, analysis, and implementation of optimization actions.

• Coordinate with field and NOC teams for performance improvement initiatives.

6. Field Services & Coordination:

• Coordinate, manage, and execute field service activities supporting operations and engineering teams.

• Ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

7. Project Compliance:

• Ensure all activities are executed in alignment with Project Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements and Ericssons Managed Services standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of 4G/5G RAN optimization tools and techniques.

2. Hands-on experience with Drive Test tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo, Actix, or similar).

3. Expertise in OSS performance monitoring tools and KPI management.

4. Good understanding of Ericsson or multi-vendor network environments.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

7. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

2. 710 years of experience in RF Optimization.

3. Prior experience in Ericsson or similar telecom projects preferred.
