About the Business Group:

The Auto Loans department is a part of Retail Lending business of the bank which offers Auto Loans to customers Pan India.

About the Role:

Product Manager is responsible to achieve business goals and profitability by way of strategic initiatives, monitor placement margin and engaging in business development activities to drive growth and profitability. The Product Manager is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of a product or product line. They collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, credit, Digital Banking, IT, CARO, marketing, and sales and other stakeholders - to define product goals, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing and launching new products and streamlining existing processes to increase new customer acquisition.
  • Aligning the onboarding platforms with the competition financers to enhance customer experience and reduced TAT.
  • Cross-functional collaboration for formulating and implementing new processes and/ or modifying existing processes and addressing queries/ clarifications sought by Sales Team
  • Ensuring rate and payout matrix planning for each quarter and roll out of the same to Sales & Operations.
  • Design and launch contests and schemes for employees and Channel Partners
  • Monitor pricing, revenue generation, portfolio performance including budgetary, expansion and long-term business planning
  • Monitoring portfolio delinquency and aligning with the collection team to improve sourcing and identifying delinquent locations.
  • Driving business volumes by organizing cadences with Sales team regularly, monitoring business productivity and ensuring continuous growth.
  • Tracking critical business metrics like fee income, IRR, productivity, PDD, etc. and ensure it is in line with budgeted numbers.
  • End to end planning, coordination, development of digital journey by coordinating closely with DBAT and IT team.
  • Involvement in new projects (adhoc) to enable business growth
  • Interaction and relationship building with OEMs for driving market share of Axis Bank within each OEM, onboarding strategic partners and DSAs.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines as applicable to business and closure of audit & compliance observations.
  • Monitoring profitability (NIM) and other key business parameters. At regular intervals monitoring budget vs actuals.
  • Ensuring timely payout release along with channel onboarding Responsible to increase customer retention and engagement to improve Net Promoter Score and customer satisfaction.
  • Driving business through INF dealers and increase retail penetration from Sakaar Channels.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation/Post-graduation from a recognized institute
  • 5+ years of work experience

Role Proficiencies:

  • Strong understanding of retail banking products.
  • Proficient in capitalizing on business opportunities for Auto Loans, understanding and resolving the challenges and gaps faced in the business
  • Key competence in management of diverse internal and external stakeholders, complex client and partner relationships
  • Knowledge of latest developments in market and industry, ability to translate and implement the same to drive business
  • Capability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in managing teams; coaching and mentoring team members
  • Competence in managing within a dynamic, priority-setting environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse and be impactful across all levels internally as well as at a client s organization.
