As an Assistant Director in the GDS Data Protection team at EY, you will play a crucial role in leading operational implementation and supervising the team to deliver the GDS Data Protection Program across various locations. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading operational implementation, supervising the team, and delivering the GDS Data Protection Program in different countries - Participating in privacy program transformation projects and business as usual activities - Providing solutions for data protection compliance and EY's global privacy framework - Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to design and implement solutions - Managing global projects and networks - Leading the review, development, and implementation of compliance processes and standards - Conducting detailed analysis of data, preparing MIS and reports using tools such as Excel - Representing the Data Protection team in various internal forums To be successful in this role, you should have: - 10 years of professional experience in data protection - Strong understanding of data protection principles and application of controls - Experience in project delivery for compliance monitoring and testing - Ability to work in complex environments and think logically - Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies - Interest in collaborating with culturally diverse teams - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - University graduate/post-graduate with a good academic background - Advanced MS Office knowledge - Experience with privacy program management platforms - Preferred qualifications: CIPM, CIPP/E or similar Additionally, you should have the ability to: - Operate and adapt in an ambiguous environment - Work to deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs - Occasionally work flexibly to support global operations In return, EY offers a dynamic and truly global work environment where you can collaborate with experts from various domains and geographies.
