As the Digital Delivery Lead/BIM Lead at Jacobs, you will be the key point of contact for all Building Information Modeling (BIM) related matters. Your role will require a deep understanding of both local and international BIM standards and requirements. Collaborating with valued clients, you will play a crucial role in facilitating their digital transformation journeys, contributing to strategic bids, and establishing yourself as a prominent leader in the Digital Delivery domain in India. To excel in this role, you should have a Masters/Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in BIM, digital delivery, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in leading BIM implementation on large-scale, complex projects will be highly beneficial. Additionally, having advanced certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, ISO 19650 certification) is desirable. You are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural BIM Operator who will be playing a key role in engineering projects at BIMiT, a dynamic and innovative BIM Consultancy. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain detailed Structural BIM models using industry-leading software such as Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and others. Collaboration with stakeholders in New Zealand and Australia to integrate structural components into overall project models is crucial for project success. Duties and Responsibilities Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Develops and maintains electrical systems models, including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordination between electrical and other building systems. Performs clash detection and resolution within the BIM environment. Generates accurate quantity take-offs and schedules from the BIM model. Ensures compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Participates in project meetings and contributes to decision-making processes related to electrical design. Assists in the development and maintenance of company BIM standards and best practices. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to electrical BIM models. Stays current with industry trends, new technologies, and software updates in electrical BIM.
