Job Description

As a Structural Design Engineer at Jacobs, you will utilize your expertise in Civil Engineering to contribute to the design and development of a wide range of projects in various industries such as Industrial, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, and Semiconductor. With 8-15 years of experience in Structural Design activities, you will be responsible for designing a variety of structures including Large Industrial RCC Buildings, Utility Building Shed, Compressor Shelters, Warehouse, Workshops, FAB shelters for Microelectronics Projects, Steel Pipe Racks, Pipe Bridges, Tank Foundations, and Dynamic Equipment Foundations. Your role will also involve Steel Connection Design, PEB Structures, Vibration Analysis, FEM Analysis, Unistrut Design, Seismic Analysis, Composite Slabs, Waffle Slabs, and preparation of MTOs, BOQs, and Tender Documents. Proficiency in software such as Staad, Etabs, RAM Connections, Idea Statica, SAFE, Robot, RISA, SAP, Tekla, Navis, Revizto, and Hilti Profis is essential. Familiarity with codes and standards including Indian Codes, ASCE, AISC, ACI, EURO Codes, NBC, and IBC will be required for this role. To thrive in this position, you should hold a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and have a strong background in handling Structural Design activities for Industrial Projects.
