Title: Tekla Draftsman - Steel Construction Location: Bangalore / Pune Domain: Construction Engineering Experience description Bachelor/masters in civil engineering / Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 8 years of experience as a Tekla Drafter in the steel construction industry and experience in Oil & Gas Expertise in creating and editing 3D models of steel structures, skids using Tekla Structures. Strong knowledge of detail calculations and steel structure design principles. Experience with connection detailing, fabrication drawings, and structural assembly drawings. Previous experience collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams. Roles and responsibilities As a Draftsman Steel Structures: Develop and modify 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures. Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation, including connections. Ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards (Eurocode 3). Conduct connection detailing and structural analysis for stability and durability. Performing the necessary calculations for fastening materials (such as bolts, welds, etc.).
