Technical / Subject Knowledge M.E / B.E (Civil/Mech) with 4 to 9 Years of Experience in Steel Structure Connection Design, management and coordination of structural aspects of project, prepare project plan and scheduling activities and deliverables. Sound Experiences in Design/ Analysis of Steel structure and connections using Excel spreadsheets/ manual calculation/ or similar software. Knowledge of Euro and other international codes (American, BS & India etc.) relevant to Steel structural design/ connection design discipline experience with Euro code is highly DESIRABLE In-depth understanding of constructability aspects of steel structure and connections. You may have a preference, if you have knowledge in Lifting Analysis, Padeye design. FEM Analysis for plated structures. Weight and COG calculation for structures. Preparation of standard connection catalogue Checking of fabrication and engineering drawings to match the design intent. Prepare design basis report and design reports of structures. Skill Sets - Steel Structure Connection design & Steel Structure Design Software Tools - STAAD, E-Tabs, Idea Statica, AutoCAD or similar software/spreadsheets/ Preferred to have knowledge in SCIA Engineering software. Targeted Industries -Steel connection Design / Structural steel Design/ fabricators/detailers involved in workshop engineering including connection design Learning Possibilities -You will get Training on offshore structure heavy Liftings, Sea transport, River transport, SPMT transport, and Stability checks in handling heavy structures! Training on New Software like SCIA Engineering.
