Job Description

Key responsibilities

Customer engagement:
Greet and assist customers, answer questions, and provide detailed product information to help them make purchasing decisions.
Sales and promotions:
Actively promote products, upsell, and handle sales transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
Store maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. This includes stocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and managing inventory.
Customer service:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and manage returns or other post-sale issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Sales targets:
Work towards and strive to achieve or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Product knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, pricing, and current promotions to effectively advise customers.
Team collaboration:
Work with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and to meet overall store objectives.

Required skills and qualifications

Communication:
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills for effective customer and team interaction.
Customer focus:
A proactive approach to customer service and sales, with a focus on building customer loyalty.
Sales acumen:
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, upsell, and meet sales targets.
Organizational skills:
Ability to stay organized and manage tasks efficiently.
Problem-solving:
Ability to resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
Physical ability:
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills:
For accurately handling cash and sales transactions.
