Job Title: Restaurant Manager (RM)

​Location: Palakkad, Kerala

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Area Coach / Market Manager

​Role Objective

​The Restaurant Manager is the leader of the store. You are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, from ensuring the "Finger Lickin' Good" quality of every meal to managing the P&L (Profit and Loss) and developing a high-performing local team. Your goal is to make the branch the preferred quick-service destination in the region.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Operational Excellence & Quality Control

​Ensure 100% compliance with KFC’s global food safety and sanitation standards.

​Monitor daily operations to ensure speed of service (SOS) and accuracy in every order (Dine-in, Takeaway, and Delivery).

​Conduct regular audits of kitchen equipment and facility maintenance.

​2. Team Leadership & Development

​Train and mentor a diverse team of shift managers & crew members.

​Foster a positive "How We Win Together" culture, emphasizing recognition and teamwork.

​Manage staff scheduling to optimize productivity during peak hours (weekends and holidays).

​3. Financial Management

​Take full ownership of the restaurant’s P&L, including labor costs, inventory management, and waste reduction.

​Drive local store marketing (LSM) initiatives to increase footfall and sales in the Palakkad market.

​Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to meet or exceed monthly targets.

​4. Customer Experience

​Handle guest feedback and complaints with a "Customer First" mindset.

​Ensure the dining area and exterior (Stadium Bypass Road frontage) remain clean and welcoming at all times.

​Required Qualifications & Skills

​Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.

​Experience: 4–5 years of experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or retail industry, with at least a years in a managerial role.

​Language: Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential for communicating with local staff and customers.

​Skills: * Strong understanding of P&L and financial reporting.

​Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.

​Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
