Position Overview

We are hiring a Resin Production Chemist to support resin manufacturing, batch execution, process monitoring and quality consistency. This role operates in a chemical production environment with 3 rotational shifts and offers strong learning and growth opportunities.

Work Schedule

⏱ Shift Based (8 Hours Per Shift)

• Shift 1: Day
• Shift 2: Evening
• Shift 3: Night

Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts as per production scheduling.

Compensation

- Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience & capability)

Key Responsibilities

✔ Execute resin/varnish manufacturing batches as per standard SOPs and formulation sheets
✔ Monitor reaction parameters, distillation behaviour, exotherm patterns and viscosity trends✔ Conduct in-process quality checks (acid value, hydroxyl value, viscosity, solids, flow time, etc.)✔ Support scale-up trials from laboratory to production reactors✔ Maintain detailed batch records, reaction logs, deviation notes and yield tracking✔ Assist in troubleshooting gelation, thinning, stability issues or plant upsets✔ Coordinate with R&D, QC, production and maintenance teams✔ Ensure compliance with safety procedures, housekeeping and audit requirements

Required Knowledge & Competencies

- Good understanding of polymer/alkyd/polyester/epoxy resin chemistry
- Knowledge of acid-value calculation, stoichiometry and distillation principles- Ability to observe reaction progress and interpret test results- Discipline in documentation and process control- Familiarity with chemical plant operations, reactors, condensers, and utilities is a plus

Qualifications

- B.Sc/M.Sc Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering
- 1–5 years experience in resin/varnish/polymer production preferred(Freshers with excellent fundamentals may also be considered)
