Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Construction Manager (RCM) to oversee and manage construction activities for city gas distribution projects in Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Sonebhadra. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in City Gas Pipeline laying (Steel & PNG), CNG station construction, and related infrastructure projects.

The RCM will be responsible for project planning, execution, quality assurance, safety compliance, and coordination with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pipeline laying (Steel & PNG) and CNG construction projects for city gas distribution.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and decision-making at the site level.
• Monitor progress reports, resolve bottlenecks, and drive timely project completion.
• Manage and mentor site teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. (Diploma candidates are not eligible).
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of total experience in construction projects, with Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior role such as RCM, Senior PMC, or Senior Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline laying (Steel & PNG), CNG station construction, and allied civil/mechanical works.
• Proven track record of handling large-scale CGD projects with leadership and execution excellence.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality systems, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
