We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on indirect taxation (GST compliance), MIS reporting, client invoicing, and receivables/payables management . Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry . Key Responsibilities Taxation & Compliance Timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) Reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts and vendor/client statements Ensure all documentation is maintained for tax audits and statutory assessments Ensure compliance with all applicable indirect tax laws and regulations Financial Reporting & Analysis Preparation and maintenance of comprehensive MIS reports for senior management Conduct financial analysis to generate business insights and support strategic decisions Preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements, reconciliations, and audit schedules. Accounts Receivable & Payable Management Handle invoice generation and submission to clients as per billing cycles Track and manage the receipt of payments from clients, and send timely follow-ups Expedite collections to ensure timely cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables Maintain and update a daily list of debtors and creditors, ensuring real-time accuracy Resolve invoice discrepancies and address client/vendor queries professionally. General Accounting Operations Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and relevant statutory authorities Ensure accurate data entry and reporting through Tally and ERP systems.
