Job Title: Research Writer IT Intern Company: The Assigner Duration: 3 Months Job Location: Work from Home Job Type: Internship Job Summary: The Research Writer – IT Intern will support the academic writing and technical content development team by contributing to research-based projects in the field of Information Technology. The role primarily involves producing original, well-referenced academic content in topics including but not limited to Java, C++, Python, C, and database systems . The ideal candidate will demonstrate both technical competency and a strong foundation in academic research and writing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive research and write academic content, assignments, and project reports in areas such as: Java, C++, Python, C programming Database Management Systems (SQL and NoSQL) Develop well-documented code samples, logical algorithms, and analytical explanations to support project requirements. Ensure that all written materials adhere to academic guidelines and referencing styles (e.g., APA, Harvard, IEEE). Maintain content originality by avoiding plagiarism and ensuring proper citation of all sources. Collaborate with internal academic teams to understand specific project needs and deliver content within tight deadlines. Revise and refine submitted content based on feedback from editors or subject matter experts. Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline . Strong command over programming languages: Java, C++, Python, and C . Good understanding of Relational and Non-Relational Databases and SQL . Proficiency in technical writing and academic documentation. Awareness of academic ethics and plagiarism standards. Familiarity with referencing tools and style guides (APA, Harvard, IEEE, etc.).
