Repair Engineer

OVERVIEW

The Engineer/Technician – HRS [INDIA & APAC] works as part of the HRS Team within TRAC Radio Design India Private Limited Company and required to perform any combination of following tasks to repair electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems as directed by the HRS Manager.

KEY FUNCTIONS

·        Repair of products containing a variety of technologies in a volume HRS environment

KEY FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Conduct repairs to RF products.
• Conduct repairs to PSUs and/or switched-mode PSUs
• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electronic assemblies, subassemblies and products to component level using appropriate test equipment.
• Experience in soldering and reworking surface-mount and through-hole components using hot air and/or infra-red soldering/rework stations or similar equipment.
• Be willing to work in a busy environment where work is carried out to exacting quality standards.
• Be willing to expand current skills and knowledge through continuous on-the-job learning and improvement.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a disciplined and tidy manner, in compliance with applicable legislation and company policies.
• Work in shifts, if required, as per management discretion.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Education

• ITI/Diploma in Electronics Engineering (preferred)

JOB SPECIFIC

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge relevant to electronics repair and diagnostics.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum

  1 year of experience

  for ITI candidates or

  3 months for Diploma holders

  in the electronics industry in a technical role.
• Familiarity with DC and RF circuits and measurements using industry standard test equipment and tools.
