Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Release Manager / DevOps Engineer to oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle of software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment automation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth and compliant software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Release Planning & Coordination

• Own and manage the release calendar across multiple environments.
• Schedule, plan, and coordinate release activities in alignment with business priorities.
• Collaborate with Change Management and CAB to ensure compliance with change freezes and governance.
• Communicate release scope, timelines, and risks to stakeholders.

Build, Package & Deployment

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bash scripting.
• Package and version software components following configuration management standards.
• Deploy releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments with minimal downtime.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all releases meet testing sign-offs, security approvals, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate release documentation including release notes and deployment plans.
• Support audit readiness by tracking and reporting release metrics.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with DevOps and development teams to enhance deployment automation and pipeline efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for incident recovery and post-release troubleshooting.
