Position:

Role Overview

The Relationship Manager – Wealth/Investment is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of High-Net-Worth (HNI) clients by offering tailored investment solutions and wealth management services. The role involves understanding client financial goals, managing their investment portfolios, cross-selling wealth products, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while adhering to organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Management & Advisory

  • Manage an assigned AUM/book size of HNI clients and ensure portfolio performance aligns with client goals and risk profiles.
  • Provide investment advisory across products such as mutual funds, PMS, AIF, structured products, bonds, fixed-income instruments, and insurance solutions.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing as per market conditions and client needs.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Retain and deepen relationships with existing HNI clients through consistent engagement, financial planning, and value-added services.
  • Acquire new clients through referrals, networking, and market intelligence.
  • Ensure personalized service and act as a single point of contact for all wealth-related requirements.

3. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve revenue targets across investment and wealth product categories.
  • Cross-sell financial products in line with client suitability and company guidelines.
  • Maintain and grow the book size while ensuring profitability.

4. Compliance & Process Management

  • Ensure adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and internal compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, risk assessments, and client suitability records.
  • Follow operational processes for onboarding, KYC, transactions, and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of investment products: Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, bonds, equity, insurance, and structured products.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Analytical ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate investment strategies.
  • Strong market awareness and ability to interpret financial trends.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and capable of managing a high-value HNI portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate/Postgraduate
  • Certifications such as

    NISM VA, NISM XA/ XB, CFP, or other wealth management certifications

    are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience of which 3 years in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial services, preferably with an established HNI client book.
