Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to join our Private Equity team with a sector focus on Financial Services (Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Asset Management) and Fintech

(Payments, Lending, Wealth Tech, Insurtech, Reg Tech, Banking Tech). The candidate will play a critical role across the deal lifecycle from origination and evaluation to execution, portfolio management, and exit.

Role description:

• Lead market research, competitive analysis, and financial modelling to assess opportunities.
• Conduct valuation analysis (Transaction & trading comps, precedent transactions) and scenario planning.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and recommendations for the Investment Committee.

• Negotiate term sheets, transaction structures, and legal documentation.
• Liaise with internal legal, compliance, and finance teams to close transactions smoothly.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and auditors during deal execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA or CA/CFA/FRM with strong analytical background.
• Experience: 4 7 years in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, or strategy consulting with a focus on financial services or fintech.
• Track record of deal sourcing, execution, and value creation in portfolio companies.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
