The candidate for this position should have extensive experience in marketing / activities, business acquisition related to power trading, renewable energy sale, analyzing power markets and identifying new business opportunities while expanding the client base. They will be responsible for client relationship management, effectively communicating the company's value proposition, and conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends. A strong understanding of power exchange segments, renewable energy and experience in managing business / client acquisition are essential.
Additionally, the candidate must stay informed about regulatory updates, tariff orders, and trading rules while liaising with government authorities and electricity boards to facilitate the open access process. Responsibilities also include drafting Power Purchase/Sale Agreements, ensuring the settlement of open access power, and overseeing inter/intra-state bilateral transactions between power buyers and sellers. Strong expertise in trading, renewable energy, government liasoning, and regulatory compliance is crucial for this role.
The candidate for this position should have extensive experience in the power sector or renewable energy sale, preferably across multiple functional dimensions, including business development and marketing. They should possess strong expertise in stakeholder management, particularly in handling retail customers and distribution companies, while demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics, emerging trends, and strategies to drive business growth.
In addition to above, the candidate should have an experience of prevalent Open access regulations, renewable regulations, and power trading activities.
