Relationship Manager - Retail sales

A Retail Relationship Manager builds strong customer ties by providing personalized financial advice, acquiring new clients, and ensuring satisfaction through tailored product solutions (loans, savings, cards) and proactive issue resolution, acting as the main contact to grow business via upselling/cross-selling within banking/financial services. They analyse client needs, manage portfolios, and collaborate internally to meet expectations, focusing on long-term loyalty and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition & Growth: Attract new retail clients, grow existing accounts (wallet share), and identify new business opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Develop trust-based, long-term relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Financial Advice: Understand client needs, offer personalized advice, and recommend suitable banking/financial products (loans, investments, cards).
• Sales & Service: Upsell/cross-sell relevant services, ensure excellent service, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Portfolio Management: Manage client accounts, conduct regular reviews, and ensure compliance.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiation, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Experience: Background in sales, customer service, or finance; familiarity with CRM software.
• Education: Often a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing.
