Responsibilities:

Role: As a Senior Manager in stock broking, you'll be crucial in overseeing and directing various facets of stock trading operations within the organization. This position requires a thorough grasp of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and strong leadership abilities to guide the team in achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Guide the stock broking team with a clear strategic vision, ensuring their efforts align with the organization’s overarching goals. Formulate and execute plans to broaden market reach, improve client satisfaction, and foster business growth.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Relationship Managers, Dealing/Sales professionals, and dealers. Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong client relationships by understanding their investment goals, risk tolerance, and preferences. Offer tailored investment advice and recommendations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Keep up with market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments. Conduct thorough research and analysis to pinpoint investment opportunities, assess risks, and anticipate potential market disruptions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. Implement comprehensive risk management strategies to address operational, financial, and regulatory risks related to stock broking activities.
  • Technology and Innovation: Utilize technology and digital platforms to optimize trading operations, boost efficiency, and enhance the client experience. Assess emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and gain a competitive edge.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of stock broking activities. Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, offering insights into business performance, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Expert Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, investment products, and the regulatory frameworks governing stock broking.
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to build trust, foster teamwork, and manage conflicts effectively.

Exhibit sound judgment, integrity, and ethical behavior in interactions with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
