The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing the performance of Team Leads and Sales Promoters across multiple retail stores in the region. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure that sales targets are met, customer satisfaction is maintained, and the overall store performance is optimized.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and store events effectively.
Supervise and support Team Leads and Sales Promoters across the region, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise.
Ensure that retail stores in the region are operating efficiently and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor store performance metrics, such as sales figures, customer feedback, and inventory levels.
Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide support, and identify areas for improvement.
Enhance customer experience by ensuring high standards of service and addressing any customer concerns or complaints.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and team achievements to senior management.
Use data and analytics to track progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Identify training needs for Team Leads and Sales Promoters and facilitate relevant training programs.
Promote continuous learning and development to enhance team skills and performance.
Oversee the budget for the region, ensuring that expenses are managed effectively and within approved limits.
Evaluate financial reports and adjust strategies as needed to achieve financial goals.
Masters in business administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
5 years of experience in the retail industry, demonstrating expertise in managing sales teams, optimizing store performance, and driving customer satisfaction.
Proven experience in retail sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with retail management software.
Flexibility to travel within the region as needed.
