Position 2: RSM (Region: Rajasthan)

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Managers (RSM) for our Solar Loans division for Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The RSM will be responsible for leading the sales efforts in a designated region, driving business growth by acquiring new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones. The ideal candidate will have experience in solar energy financing, a strong understanding of the loan products, and a proven track record in managing and leading a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for solar loan products within your assigned region to achieve revenue and market share growth.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales Leaders and sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide ongoing training and professional development to ensure the teams success.
  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    Identify and target key customers, such as solar installers, contractors, and homeowners, to expand the companys customer base. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:

    Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, loan volumes, and customer satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Market Analysis:

    Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the solar and renewable energy market to ensure the company stays competitive and compliant.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, underwriting, and operations to ensure a seamless experience for customers and optimize loan processes.
  • Reporting & Documentation:

    Provide regular reports on sales activities, market insights, and progress toward targets to senior management. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the renewable energy or financing industry, with a strong understanding of solar energy products and loan structures.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of solar energy market trends, financing solutions, and loan products.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Certifications (optional):

    • Solar industry certifications or related finance qualifications are a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Travel:

    The position will require travel within the designated regions to meet clients, attend industry events, and oversee team performance.
  • Physical Requirements:

    This role may involve long hours, including weekends, and occasional physical activity related to site visits.
