Regional Sales Manager - North & West Region (Respiratory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and own the sales strategy for our specialized pharma products within the Delhi NCR region.
  • Establish strong relationships with KOLs (e.g., those in critical care, respiratory medicine, internal medicine, and dietetics) in leading hospitals and private clinics across Delhi NCR.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of sales representatives to optimally cover the NCR region.
  • Lead by example through active field selling, conducting joint calls, demonstrating effective sales techniques, and providing continuous on-the-job coaching.
  • Set clear individual and team targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Continuously gather market intelligence on competitor activities, evolving clinical practices, and HCP/KOL feedback within Delhi NCR.
  • Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and market trends to quickly identify bottlenecks and adapt sales strategies and messaging for optimal results.
  • Provide crucial field insights to the marketing and product development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Build and nurture strong, ethical relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, including hospital administration, pharmacy heads, and procurement teams.
  • Explore and establish practical, efficient distribution channels (e.g., hospital pharmacies, specialized retail pharmacies) within Delhi NCR.
  • Maintain a strong cross functional collaboration with colleagues from marketing, medical and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of sales strategy.
  • Maintain meticulous sales records, forecast accurately, and provide regular, datadriven reports on sales performance, market insights, and team activities.
  • Ensure all sales activities strictly adhere to ethical guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulatory compliances.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Nutrition, or a related field with MBA or Master's degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical nutrition industry.
  • At least 4-5 years in a Manager role (e.g., Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager), with direct experience of managing a Sales team.
  • Mandatory proven sales experience and strong KOLs connects within Delhi NCR, specifically targeting hospital-based specialists such as Critical Care specialists, Pulmonologists, Internal Medicine physicians etc.
