Job Description

1.

To build and expand the distributor network in Gujarat and drive sales of Bakery Fats, Lauric Fats, Chocolates, and Bakery Ingredients. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing the market, forecasting sales, and establishing strong customer relationships. After achieving significant volume, the candidate will lead a sales team and drive regional sales strategy.

1. Sales & Market Development

  • Build and expand the distributor network across Gujarat.
  • Drive sales of Bakery Fats, Lauric Fats, Chocolate, and Bakery Ingredients through distribution channels.
  • Achieve monthly/annual sales targets and monitor secondary billing.
  • Conduct bakery visits, product trials, and promote new products.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts for the region.

2. Distributor Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors; ensure availability, stock rotation, and timely liquidation.
  • Coordinate billing, collections, credit control, and service levels.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with bakeries, dealers, and institutional customers.
  • Support customer queries, price issues, and service gaps promptly.

4. Team Management (Post Volume Achievement)

  • After building the business, lead a regional sales team
  • Create and execute sales strategies and monitor team performance.
  • Review visit plans, productivity, and field execution through SFA/CRM (Beatroute)

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with depot, commercial, plant accounts, SCM, and marketing teams for stock, pricing, dispatch, and promotions.
  • Submit weekly/monthly MIS reports and implement corrective actions.

6. Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing norms, and statutory requirements
