Job Title

Role Purpose

To lead and execute end-to-end retail store setup projects across the S1 region for Titan’s portfolio of brands, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery in alignment with business expansion goals. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to bring new stores to life and support retail growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Store Setup Execution

  • Drive the complete lifecycle of retail store openings, from site handover to store launch.
  • Manage fit-out activities including civil, electrical, HVAC, branding, IT, and VM implementation.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and vendors for timely and quality execution.
  • Ensure adherence to brand specifications and Titan’s retail guidelines.

2. Project Planning & Timelines

  • Create detailed project plans with defined timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Track progress against targets and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Regularly update the Lead-RND and key stakeholders on project status.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Identify, empanel, and manage local contractors and vendors.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, timeliness, and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards at all sites.

4. Cost & Budget Management

  • Prepare and monitor budgets for each project.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources and cost control without compromising on quality.
  • Track actual vs. budgeted spends and raise alerts for deviations.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with the Retail Operations, Merchandising, IT, Admin, and HR teams for seamless store go-live.
  • Partner with the Business Development team during site evaluation and handover.
  • Coordinate with mall authorities and municipal bodies for necessary permissions and clearances.

6. Quality & Safety Compliance

  • Implement and monitor site safety and quality protocols.
  • Ensure final handover meets Titan’s brand standards and operational readiness.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management skills with hands-on experience in store development
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
  • Sound knowledge of retail fit-outs, vendor negotiations, and cost control
  • Problem-solving mindset with a sense of ownership and urgency
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel preferred
  • Familiarity with mall/store approval processes and statutory requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design / Project Management
  • Postgraduate diploma or certification in Project/Retail Management (preferred)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7–10 years of experience in retail projects, preferably in lifestyle, fashion, or jewelry segments
  • Proven track record of independently handling retail store openings (high street and mall formats)
  • Exposure to regional execution with a strong network of contractors and vendors in South India
