Elpis Ltd., a dynamic and fast-growing company specializing in worldwide purchases and shipments of spices, herbs, and natural products.

As part of our global sourcing expansion, we’re building a direct procurement team in India — and we’re looking for passionate professionals to join us on this journey.

The Role

As a Regional Purchasing Manager, you’ll lead sourcing operations for herbs and spices across India.

You’ll work directly with farmers, cooperatives, and processors to ensure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and sustainable sourcing practices.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage a network of direct suppliers and farmers in key spice-growing regions.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
• Track market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Ensure quality, sustainability, and compliance with international standards.
• Conduct field visits, audits, and shipment inspections.
• Collaborate with global teams on logistics, quality, and traceability.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement or sourcing (ideally in herbs, spices, or agri-commodities).

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.

• Knowledge of export documentation, certification, and quality control.

• Fluent in English; regional languages are must.

• Willingness to travel extensively.
