Job Description: Regional Program Director – East India Basic Details Position : Regional Program Director – East India Location : Kolkata / Bhubaneswar Division : Institutional & Government Sales Manager : Director – Government Business Span of Control : Team Lead Role Type : Full Time Travel Requirement : 10% – 20% Job Summary The Regional Program Director – East India will lead state-wise strategy, sales, and policy implementation across the region. This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on institutional and government sales , stakeholder engagement, and public healthcare procurement . The incumbent will manage a team of State Sales Managers and drive key partnerships with central and state government bodies such as NHM, ECHS, Armed Forces, and Autonomous Hospitals . Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic leadership to state teams, ensuring alignment with national business goals. Serve as a regional business partner to the Government Sales Director and broader leadership team. Policy Advocacy & Tender Shaping Proactively shape tender specifications and eligibility criteria with policymakers. Engage in strategic dialogue to influence public health procurement policies. Stakeholder Engagement Build and nurture relationships with senior government officials, procurement leaders, and institutional heads. Engage actively with key institutions including AIIMS, NHM, Army Hospitals, ECHS, and autonomous medical bodies. Sales & Market Development Ensure revenue targets are achieved across Eastern India. Drive institutional penetration and new account acquisitions. Central Coordination Collaborate with the central marketing team for campaign execution and branding in the government ecosystem. Share competitive intelligence and market feedback to support national strategy formulation. Qualifications & Experience Education : Graduate in Science, Pharma, or Engineering. MBA or MHA is highly preferred. Experience : 10–15 years in healthcare/government sales, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Domain Expertise : Comprehensive knowledge of public healthcare systems, procurement mechanisms, and institutional sales.
