Regional Operations Manager - Rapid Commerce

•  The Regional Operations Manager for Rapid Commerce venture is responsible for overseeing and optimizing operations across a designated region
• This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, fulfilment efficiency, timely order handovers, and effective last-mile delivery performance across the region
• The role demands a high level of strategic thinking, strong leadership and people management skills, a focus on service-level adherence, and regional coordination

Key Responsibilities: 1

• Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy across all dark stores within the region through the implementation of rigorous checks, cycle counts, and audits
• Optimize inventory placement strategies within regional dark stores to enhance order picking efficiency
• Coordinate with central supply and category teams to manage replenishment and stock health for the region, ensuring optimal stock levels across all stores
• Fraud / Wastage Control: Implement and enforce SOPs across all regional dark stores to minimize shrinkage, pilferage, and wastage
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions at the regional level, identifying trends and addressing root causes
• Cultivate a culture of accountability and compliance among dark store staff throughout the region
• Order Processing Handover - SLA: Oversee end-to-end order processing from picking to handover across all dark stores in the region, ensuring adherence to SLAs
• Monitor and analyze order processing efficiency and identify areas for improvement across the region
• Implement best practices and standardize processes to optimize order handling and reduce delays

• LM SLA Management (Regional): Manage and monitor last-mile delivery SLAs across the region, ensuring timely delivery performance
• Coordinate with last-mile delivery partners to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency
• Analyze delivery performance data to identify and address any bottlenecks or issues affecting on-time delivery

• UE Management (Fulfillment): Manage and achieve fulfillment targets for the region, optimizing resource allocation and capacity planning across dark stores
• Monitor and analyze fulfillment metrics to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness

• UE Management (LM): Manage and optimize last-mile delivery costs and efficiency within the region
• Implement strategies to improve delivery success rates and reduce delivery exceptions
• Negotiate and manage relationships with regional last-mile delivery partners
