As Associate Director Operations (Dark Store), you will own the performance, efficiency, and operational excellence of a cluster of dark stores. You will lead multi-functional teams to ensure high service levels, optimal inventory management, process standardization, and cost-efficiency across stores. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep operational experience, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Lead the end to end operations of multiple dark stores across Jaipur/Rajasthan region.

• Drive SLA adherence, fulfillment rates, store uptime, and last-mile readiness.
  
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols across all operational touchpoints.
  

2. Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Regional Operations Managers, Store Managers, and Ops Associates.
  
• Build a high-performance culture through KPI tracking, coaching, and continuous feedback loops.
  

3. Efficiency and Process Optimization

• Identify and implement process improvements for picking, packing, dispatch, and replenishment workflows.
  
• Collaborate with the central process excellence and automation teams to roll out scalable solutions.
  

4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

• Partner with inventory planning, procurement, and category teams to ensure in-stock rates and availability.
  
• Monitor shrinkage, wastage, and pilferage, and implement controls to minimize losses.
  

5. Technology Integration

• Leverage dashboards, order management systems, and warehouse management systems to enhance visibility and decision-making.
  
• Identify opportunities for tech automation and liaise with product teams for implementation.
  

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with central ops, last-mile delivery, customer experience, and HR teams to ensure seamless operations.
  
• Provide feedback loops to business, product, and tech teams based on on-ground insights.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 812 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or fulfillment roles (preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or Q-commerce).
  
• Proven track record of managing multi-location operations and large on-ground teams.
  
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and dashboards.
