The Head of Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and scaling all warehouse activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe movement of goods. This role leads end-to-end warehouse functions including inbound, storage, inventory control, outbound, dispatch, manpower management, process design, and compliance. The position requires strong operational leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to implement systems that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Key Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse operations across inbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Develop and implement SOPs to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Manage inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, and root-cause analysis. Drive productivity through performance monitoring, automation, and process improvement. Plan and control manpower, shift activities, and warehouse layout optimization. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth supply chain flow. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company standards. Prepare and track operational KPIs, budgets, and cost-control measures. Lead, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff and supervisors. Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building capability Expertise in WMS, inventory control, and warehouse optimization Analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities Time management and multi-tasking under high operational load Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance Ability to drive change, automation, and continuous improvement Experience Required 812+ years in warehouse or supply chain operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Experience with high-volume, multi-category, or tech-enabled warehousing is preferred.
