Regional Medical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in defining clinical and growth strategies for the department, including the addition & development of new services.
• Clinical Talent Acquisition and Consultant engagement. Credentialing and Privileging of Consultants
• Define and communicate the growth path for junior Doctors to help in retention.
• Coordinate to ensure adequate staffing in all clinical departments. Credentialing of Junior Doctors.
• Formulate Policies and standard Procedures where required in Clinical departments & ensure the implementation of all clinical policies and procedures

  through regular audits, clinician discussions & training.

• Ensure that the required training for clinical departments is delivered effectively.
• Work with HR to define retention strategies for clinical staff.
• Defines and ensure implementation of standard clinical guidelines.
• Ensure that the monitoring of outcome measures is done as per protocols and timeframes.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to bring clinical practice to best standards.
• Coordinate with the facilities to implement NABH standards. Apply for and achieve accreditation for the facilities.
• Ensure that internal audits and external audits are complied with and that deficiencies are rectified.

• Support business/doctor

  marketing where required for promotional activities that need implementation through the facilities.

• Coordinate the commissioning of new facilities within the time frames set.
• Coordinate with the facilities to develop clinical academic activities for the staff such as CMEs, workshops, Conferences etc.

• Management and coordination of the features, tasks, dashboards & activities in the Apollo Q4E application
• Any additional tasks or evolving responsibilities as assigned by the management or reporting manager, based on organizational priorities and project needs

Desired Profile:

• Graduate degree: MBBS
• Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Hospital Management
• 4+ years relevant experience including experience in Quality and Accreditation
