Job Description

You will be responsible as a Regional Manager - Sales (SaaS) for building and executing a strong sales strategy to drive new business growth in the territory and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your role will involve generating leads, establishing a structured sales methodology and process, including opportunity validation, pursuit, and closure. This will entail maintaining a sales operating pace, providing accurate forecasts, and updating the pipeline regularly for business stakeholders. Your key tasks will include engaging and developing trusted relationships with customers, mapping with decision makers to understand their business requirements and pain points, and aligning them with solution offerings in the omni-channel retail software domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional team members, including inside sales, marketing, and technical teams, to progress opportunities, fine-tune solutions for prospects, and successfully close deals. Attending meetings to align strategies with managers and other stakeholders, as well as keeping the CRM system updated regularly, will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to perform business development-related tasks as an ambassador of the organization in the subsidiary. Requirements for this role include a degree or diploma in a business-related field, a total of 10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in SaaS sales, demonstrating a strong track record of closing new business deals and growing accounts. A good understanding of software solutions, cloud services, eCommerce, CRM, and ERP will be essential. Excellent prospecting, communication, and presentation skills are necessary, along with a true passion for sales and technology to inspire team members. The ideal candidate should be energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, confident, and a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively within a team. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai with a 5-day work week. The compensation package includes a salary plus commission. Experience in SaaS and omni-channel sales for at least 5 years is preferred for this role, and proficiency in English is required. The work location is in person.
