The Role:As an Regional Manager Retail - Karnataka , you :
We are looking for a Regional Manager – Sales to lead our Agri-Inputs business in Karnataka. This role carries P&L responsibility for the state and will drive sales, expansion, and penetration across existing and new districts. The Regional Manager will directly manage Territory Managers and Area Sales Managers to build a strong on-ground team and scale the business.
What will this person do:
Drive revenue and achieve sales targets across categories – Seeds, Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, and Farm Implements.
Manage and mentor Territory Managers and Area Sales Managers to deliver results.
Build and expand retailer and dealer networks across Karnataka.
Penetrate deeper into existing districts and expand into new geographies.
Ensure timely collections from Saathi partners.
Own P&L responsibility for Karnataka; oversee pricing, inventory, and marketing at the state level.
Collaborate with central teams for product availability, campaigns, and marketing plans.
Train and enable Saathi partners on product placement and sales.
Monitor performance, analyze data, and share timely daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Conduct market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning, and awareness.
Qualifications we look for:
8+ years of experience in Agri-Inputs Sales & Distribution.
Strong knowledge of dealer/retailer networks and rural markets.
Proven track record of managing Territory & Area Sales Managers.
Demonstrated ability to handle P&L responsibility.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
