Role: Regional Manager – Government & Defence Business Location: Delhi This position will manage the team of account managers for the federal, PSU’s, state government named customers in PAN India. Role will primarily be responsible for ensuring the achievement of Sales Revenue for the region, pipeline generation and growth of revenues in line with assigned quota for the team of Account Managers. Key Objectives : Delivering of Sales Revenue, Growth of Revenue, Juniper footprint in the accounts, New accounts acquisition and Drive customer satisfaction with the team of Account Managers. Job responsibilities Lead the team of Account Managers to grow the region. Run the sales operations with accurate forecasting with the team in delivering the assigned sales target with linearity and grow the focused verticals in the region with juniper footprint. Build partners in the region for growing the Juniper business. Set up relationship with key customer stake holders including "C" level. Work closely with customer technical / planning / business teams to understand their business needs / concerns. Gain entry into competitive accounts in Large Conglomerates and other large accounts. Pipeline generation & expansion Set up excellent business relationship with Internal (within Juniper) and External (within Customer) teams. Overall objective is to drive sales of Juniper’s products, services and solutions direct and through channels for Key federal, PSU’s, state government customers. Apply both tactical and strategic go to market models aimed at growing the customer base both in the short and long terms to drive higher revenues, customer growth and customer retention. Develop processes and approaches to minimize channel and internal conflicts. Develop account plans for Key Accounts and follow through with decided strategy & goals. Influence, engage and enable appropriate Reseller personnel in support of our go to market strategy. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales achievement. Major Accountabilities Sales Achievement Reseller partner relationships Key Executive alignment with key stake holders in the accounts Accountable for developing quarterly and annual plans in support of attaining revenue goals Growth of Revenue and increase in market share Accurate forecasting Sales cycle time, lead to closure Key Qualifications, Competencies and Capabilities Engineering graduate and/or MBA with 20+ years of front-end selling experience Significant relevant working experience in handling federal, PSU’s, state government Market in PAN India Existing CXO & other relevant customer connects Technology savvy, must have sold OEM products like networking or high-end servers or storage or software or SI services. Education – Engineering graduate and/or MBA from a good business school. Self-driven, motivated, willingness to challenge the status quo are some key traits Exceptional customer facing/listening skills Experience with networking products, solutions, markets and competition. Skilled at resolving complex negotiations with various channel partners and internal stakeholders under time pressure.
