Job Description

The Regional Manager – Admissions will be responsible for driving student enrollments from Intermediate (+1 & +2) students and Junior Colleges/Coaching Centres in the assigned region. The role requires strong regional networking, student-parent counselling, and leadership in achieving admission targets, with a primary focus on KL University’s flagship Engineering programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Admissions & Outreach
  • Plan and execute admission drives targeting +1 & +2 students in Junior Colleges and Coaching Centres (IIT-JEE, NEET, EAMCET, etc.).
  • Achieve admission targets for Engineering and other programs.
  • Conduct career counselling sessions, seminars, and workshops for students and parents

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with college principals, lecturers, coaching heads, and consultants.
  • Strengthen alumni/student ambassador engagement in the region.
  • Act as the regional representative of KL University to build trust and visibility.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Execute regional marketing activities in sync with central campaigns.
  • Organize education fairs, scholarship tests, bridge courses, and career workshops in Junior Colleges.
  • Promote KL University’s placement record, global collaborations, and new-age courses.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Manage and guide admission counsellors/executives in the region.
  • Ensure timely reporting of inquiries, leads, and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate with central admissions for smooth application processing.

Student & Parent Engagement

  • Provide one-on-one and group counselling to students/parents.
  • Create awareness about Engineering and emerging fields like AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Robotics.
  • Guide on entrance exams, scholarships, and admission formalities.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of admission targets (Engineering & Non-Engineering).
  • Number and quality of tie-ups with Junior Colleges/Coaching Centres.
  • Conversion ratio from leads → applications → enrolments.
  • Regional participation in events and visibility campaigns.
  • Team performance and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering/Management preferred); MBA desirable.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or educational business development.
  • Strong network and relationships with Junior Colleges and Coaching Institutions.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed admission targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
