Regional Logistics Manager
If you have experience in managing Asia Pacific, India, and Middle East transportation and logistics services, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! You will be responsible for executing the Copeland Global Logistics strategy, developing regional ground strategies, and managing regional customs brokerage strategies. Through collaboration with business units supply chain as well as sales operations leaders, develop implement strategic initiatives to improve cost, on-time delivery, and reliability. The Regional Logistics Manager works with our Asia Pacific, India, and Middle East Copeland business unit operations, Copeland s Logistics Operations Team and third-party logistics providers to ensure Copeland s logistics operations are reliably executed.
APAC and IMEA Regional Logistics Manager, Essential Duties Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager Work with the Copeland Senior Logistics Manager to:
- Implement global transportation strategy utilizing Copeland s global transportation management system.
- Communicate and train local operations on Global Logistics Data Standards Processes
- Develop and execute Annual Operating Logistics Plan
Lead efficiency projects to delivery net productivity improvements Develop and implement Regional Ground Customs Brokerage strategy utilizing the global logistics standards. Own regional ground competitive tension planning execution Point of escalation for on-going logistics provider issues Logistics Training, Education Development Lead Regional Operational Reviews continuous improvement (relationship management) Strong communication, analytical and leadership to drive continuous improvement. Deal with ambiguity, think critically, to deliver solutions in support of operational excellence. Oversee and/or execute the data analytics required to enable continuous operational improvement and alignment with Copeland s business system. Work closely with business unit Operations Leaders across the region to identify mode specific cost savings opportunities and implement long-term, sustainable solutions to improve supply chain performance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Bachelor s degree in business, transportation, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience. At least 7 years experience in logistics or transportation management with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with global and regional logistics providers. Demonstrate an ability to drive operational change by working and excelling in a team environment. Demonstrate an ability to interact across all levels of management within and outside the organization. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. Appropriate communication skills to ensure proper communication with Copeland leadership as well as local plant operations. Fluent in English Relentless pursuit of root cause identification and resolution. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Strong project management skills including analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Position requires regional and international travel (30%)
- Ability to travel to the United States.
