Job Description

Head the complete legal function for Loan Against Property (LAP) business.

Manage property title due diligence, legal vetting, documentation, mortgage creation and registration.

Ensure compliance with RBI & NBFC regulations, SARFAESI Act, DRT, TPA, Registration and Stamp laws.

Handle and supervise litigation, recovery matters, legal notices and court proceedings.

Lead and manage legal team and empaneled advocates; ensure timely resolution of cases.

Provide legal advisory to credit, operations and recovery teams; identify and mitigate legal risks.

Draft, review and approve agreements, notices and legal documents.

Qualification: LLB/LLM with 815 years NBFC/BFSI (LAP) experience.
