Regional Credit Manager

As a Borrower Account Manager in the retail loan business, your role involves managing all activities related to the sanction life cycle of borrower accounts for short and medium-term products. You will closely work with business teams to oversee end-to-end credit approval processes in the designated region. Your responsibilities include: - Underwriting for various customer segments, including retail and high-value cases, and presenting findings to senior management. - Authorizing deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy. - Finalizing review of credit memos prepared by underwriters, ensuring documentation requirements are met, and providing approval or decline signoffs on each file. - Approving all disbursement requests based on adherence to requirements and complete documentation at the branch level. - Ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits when necessary. - Overseeing and following up with external vendors to resolve queries and submit reports promptly, eliminating any delays. - Coordinating with the recoveries team to generate business insights. - Leading a team of credit approvers to uphold portfolio quality and manage delinquencies. - Engaging in the development, implementation, review, and monitoring of credit programs, while providing training and coaching to enhance team competency and processing efficiency. - Ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and loan sanctioning. - Customizing underwriting norms to local market needs and continuously enhancing and executing consumer credit risk strategy. - Adhering to all required norms and regulations. Your qualifications for this role include a Post Graduate or Graduate degree in any discipline.,
